Matrox introduced a new video decoding accelerator (VDA-1164) dedicated to run the video management system (VMS) software workstations, which simultaneously support and decode a variety of cameras and a variety of codecs video stream from a variety of resolutions. It has the unique features of the system CPU reducing the burden to support a variety of resolutions and bit encoding format of the multiple IP video streams to synchronize hardware decoding, fundamentals of wireless communication, up to 4 monitors to watch the video too clear. VDA-1164 for the independent monitoring system or some command and control center operator workstation is undoubtedly an ideal solution; these workstations run the video and state management software to monitor the safety of large-scale IP networks. Decoders fully committed to the host CPU of the video decoding tasks, data communication devices, allowing the main CPU to focus on access control, system configuration and state management and other tasks. The CPU freed in order to maximize the system operator on the alert and responsive interaction.
